Kyle Heffner is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist currently practicing at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Crosby, Minnesota. He has been providing independent anesthesia care at CRMC for the past five years. Prior to this, Kyle spent three years at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, where he gained extensive experience in cardiothoracic and high-risk obstetrical anesthesia, as well as a broad range of anesthetic procedures common to a major tertiary care center.
In his current practice, Kyle delivers anesthesia services across multiple specialties, including orthopedics, spine surgery, gynecology, general surgery, obstetrics, bariatrics, urology, and advanced endoscopy. He works independently alongside a team of 10 CRNAs and 2 anesthesiologists, contributing to a collaborative and patient-centered model of care.
In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Kyle serves as the Clinical Coordinator for Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, his alma mater, where he mentors and educates future nurse anesthetists—a role he finds both meaningful and rewarding.
Outside of his professional life, Kyle is a proud new father and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys fishing, hunting, canoeing, kayaking, golfing, traveling, and spending quality time with his family and friends at their cabin.
