Twin Oaks Anesthesia is pleased to offer the all new Point of Care Ultrasound Course with strategic placement of hands-on scanning immediately following presentations. This newly designed course features HANDS ON PRACTICE STATIONS throughout the weekend after topics/techniques are presented allowing attendees to practice various concepts related to Point of Care Ultrasound.

This Program will offer 16 Class A CEs pending AANA approval.

 

Agreement Responsibilities

Twin Oaks Anesthesia Services, LLC agrees to provide:

  • Create a custom course based on group’s needs and present to the group over 2 half days.

  • Two (2) half day of hands-on instruction related to topics covered in presentation (afternoons).

  • Presentation devices with redundant supplies to ensure presentation delivery.

  • Digital handout material - exact same high-quality comprehensive guide only available at Twin Oaks Anesthesia conferences.

  • File 16 CEs to the AANA for CRNAs (within 5 business days of course completion).

  • Email certificates of attendance to each attendee (within 5 business days of course completion).

  • Travel and accommodations for speaker(s)/instructor(s) are covered by Twin Oaks Anesthesia.

JBER Hospital agrees to provide:

  • A room large enough to accommodate attendees, presentation (2 screens), and hands-on lab.

  • Catering: continental breakfast, lunch, and coffee/tea/water throughout both days.

  • Two (2) presentation screens for the course.

  • Projector(s) for the presentation (with HDMI connections).

  • Ultrasound machine used by your department (if desired).

  • Tables for projectors and ultrasound machines.

  • Enough SRNA/live models to cover the number of hands-on stations required by attendance (typically a ratio of 1 student/live model per 6 attendees). Twin Oaks Anesthesia Services, LLC requires the SRNAs that agree to volunteer to be a student model to sign a Student Model Agreement with Twin Oaks Anesthesia Services, LLC to ensure the success of the course. Student names and emails will be required for communication purposes.

  • Beds or stretchers, ultrasound gel, linens and towels for the hands-on portion of the course (in proportion of the class size).

  • Block needles used at the medical center for use during the needle guidance portion of the practice sessions.
