Twin Oaks Anesthesia is pleased to offer this new course that focuses on “the basics” of peripheral nerve blocks and ultrasound guidance. Approximately 70% of our annual attendees categorize themselves as beginners so we created this course just for those learning the basics. Come learn in luxury at this venue that is just a few minutes from Tampa International airport . The property is connected to Bay Street and Tampa's upscale International Mall. Bay street and the Tampa International Mall offer great restaurant choices, excellent shops, and sights. Parking is free, and you don't even need to rent a car. Come enjoy everything Tampa has to offer while gaining the Point of Care Ultrasound advantage.

There are only a limited number of rooms within our room block at the special rate. Once rooms within the room block are filled, additional rooms are based on availability and current hotel rates.

Agenda Coming Soon

With this course being new, we are developing the details to make it full of tips and tricks and packed with valuable content for the beginner. We will be pulling from our popular Peripheral Nerve Blocks and Ultrasound Guidance course and expanding on the fundamentals of ultrasound sonoanatomy, didactics, and more. Everyone wants more time with the ultrasound machines to practice and that is our goal - to give you the basics and let you practice so that you are ready to take the next step in your regional anesthesia career!

Expected Schedule

Registration and a continental breakfast will be available 30 minutes prior to beginning our presentation each morning (typically at 7:30 am). The presentation and hands-on practice runs from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. We are committed to stay a reasonable amount of time extra to ensure that the hands-on experience skills are ample to fit each attendee. The instructors and presenters will vary per course dependent on availability and class size.
