Exposure for anesthesia providers to the basic sciences, current literature, and latest techniques relating to the use of ultrasound in anesthesia practice, allowing the provider the necessary tools to practice safe and up-to-date ultrasound guided procedures.

Parking Instructions/Location

Parking Directions for The KUMC Health Education Building (HEB)

Bluff Garage (Open and free for Twin Oaks Participants):  
Traveling from I-35: Take Rainbow Blvd (south) and turn left at stoplight on 36th Street, proceed up the hill and take RIGHT on the Eaton St.  Once on Eaton Street take the second right and proceed straight into parking garage.  Please park on top deck (or one floor down should it be raining) 

Option 2 from I-35: Take Rainbow Blvd and turn left at Adam’s Street Stoplight and proceed straight into parking ramp.  Travel up to top deck OR there is an elevator to take you to the top once parked.  

Directions to Lecture Hall from Parking Ramp: 

  • Once parked proceed to top floor of ramp. In the SW corner of the ramp there will be a walkway to Hemingway Building (Follow Blue Event signs)

  • Enter Hemmenway Building and continue straight through towards revolving door. Go through that door to outside

  • Stay to the right of stairs and follow event signs along sidewalk to ground entrance of HEB.

  • Once inside door the class room will be on your right, RM G205
