Scott Chastek is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist who graduated from the Minneapolis School of Anesthesia in 2006. After four years of practice at a Level I trauma center in Minneapolis, he and his wife relocated to Iowa, where he joined an independent, all-CRNA practice.

In 2020, Scott earned his Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) from Midwestern University in Arizona. He is also Board Certified in Pain Management Nursing through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Scott is passionate about airway management, acute pain, and chronic pain management. His clinical practice is uniquely balanced among surgical anesthesia, obstetric anesthesia, and chronic pain management, allowing him to serve a diverse patient population with expertise and compassion.

In addition to his clinical work, Scott is committed to education and mentorship. He serves as a clinical instructor for Premier Pain Management LLC, the University of Iowa, and the Minneapolis School of Anesthesia.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Although time for hobbies is limited, he continues to enjoy home brewing in his spare moments.
